Do you have open access pilot/demo infrastructure for the bioeconomy?

To all Pilot Plant Affiliates:

Do you have OPEN ACCESS pilot and demonstration infrastructure relevant for the bioeconomy that is not yet included in the Pilots4U database?

Pilots4U, a network of bioeconomy open access pilot and multipurpose demo facilities, is compiling a database on bioeconomy pilot-scale equipment hosted at open access facilities across the EU.

All Pilot plant owners are invited to enter information on their assets in the database by 15 March 2018. By the end of March 2018, the database will be publicly available for end users to find information on piloting infra options. The database will be published on the Pilots4U website.

By creating this database Pilots4U aims to speed up innovation in the bioeconomy sector by facilitating access, for the industry, to infrastructure that enables bringing a bio-based innovation process towards commercialisation.

How to proceed to enter your assets in the database

  1. Check the technology scope of the database here.
  2. Please fill in information through our online form.
  3. Pilots4U will review the data. If we need more information, we will contact you by email. When accepted, you will receive an email with more information on how to log into the database and edit your information.
  4. The database with asset information will be published by the end of March 2018.

Asset information will also be used to identify gaps in available equipment and services in different technology sectors and/or regions, where additional investment could help. The person filling in the data is responsible for the correctness of the information provided.
