Some people hope that biodegradable plastics will be the solution for a lot of our problems; plastic soup, littering beside the road, having to separate household waste, etc. But what if it is not?
Does ‘obtaining proof-of-concept for a promising bio-based technology’ sound as the next step on your innovation agenda?
Then, join our three experts for a one-hour webinar, during which they will give you an overview of the technical services BioBase4SME has to offer via its Innovation Coupon Scheme.
Do you have pilot and demonstration infrastructure relevant for the bioeconomy that is not yet included in the Pilots4U database? Pilots4U, a network of bioeconomy open access pilot and multipurpose demo facilities, is compiling a database on bioeconomy pilot-scale equipment hosted at open access facilities across the EU.
Curious to find out what the new €9,36M investment at the Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant looks like?
Many companies implementing emerging technologies encounter at some stage barriers or objections from consumers or local stakeholders. It is important to be aware that the stakeholders affected by a new product or process go way beyond the SME’s customer base.

The biobased economy poses new questions. In stead of huge homogeneous raw material flows, the new raw material is (often) scattered and heterogeneous. For this reason REWIN and Proefboerderij de Rusthoeve, organize the workshop “The Collaboration Plan(t)”, because the solution is found in collaboration.
Visit our booth at BIO Montréal. More information in due time.
Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant is proud to announce that the Bio Base NWE project has been selected as a finalist for the RegioStars Award 2017 in the category ‘Smart Specialisation for SME Innovation’.
You are invited to join the BioBase4SME Intellectual Property Training with focus on industrial biotechnology and the biobased economy organized by CLIB2021, Flanders Biobased Valley and REWIN West-Brabant.
Biobased products and biotechnological processes MAY have a potential to be environment friendly, but are they always as green as one can think? How to evaluate how green biobased products are? How to make them greener?
