Our dedicated Grant Applications and Public Projects team works to identify the most promising funding opportunities and support your application process. Whether you are a start-up, SME, RTO, or established large enterprise, we can guide you every step of the way.

Funding opportunities we can help you access

From early-stage innovations to full-scale commercialization, there is a range of funding options available, and we can help you secure them. Here are some of the key European programmes we are actively monitoring:

Horizon Europe Pillar 2 Cluster 1, 4, 5 & 6: Collaborative research and innovation funding addressing key societal challenges, including bioeconomy, health, climate, energy, and food systems. Applicable for multi-partner international projects, it supports TRLs from 3 to 7 with grants of up to €15M per project.

CBE-JU (Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking): Funding for projects promoting circular, sustainable, and bio-based solutions. Focused on innovation, scaling, and market adoption in the bioeconomy, CBE-JU supports TRLs from 3 to 8 with grants of up to €20M per project.

EIC Accelerator: Grants for startups, SMEs and small mid-caps up to €2.5M and equity investments up to €10M for scaling TRL5 innovations, with specific 2025 challenges in advanced materials and biotechnology for low-emission food and feed systems. Open topics are also supported.

EIC STEP Scale-Up: Equity-only funding up to €30M for startups, SMEs, and small mid-caps commercializing key innovations aligned with the EU’s strategic autonomy goals.

FutureFoodS Partnership: Support for transnational projects focused on innovative food design, processing, and supply and their scale-up between TRL3 and 7.

We are also actively tracking relevant (inter)regional opportunities, including:

Food Pioneers Accelerator (South Netherlands & Flanders): Grants of €125,000–€250,000 for food innovations that improve health, sustainability, or efficiency.
